Using Dataset and LLM

As the datasets are given do I need to create my own model or I can use the existing model without any datasets.

  no, you may use dbrx or any external model. the datasets are just suggestions, no need to use it for sure

  Does that mean I can use a GPT3.5 Model to create a solution and not use the dataset provided? If yes how then do you evaluate my use of dbrx service ?

  You must still use DB in some capacity for your project to be eligible
